The location is convenient to Times Square, theaters, and Central Park. The staff are fantastic. My husband’s phone got trapped behind the bunk bed and maintenance came up immediately to unbolt the bed from the wall and retrieve it

Great location, seemed like it would be most affordable of the generally not so affordable downtown NYC hotels. Small mini fridge and safe.

Great location, clean, nice staff

Very central, friendly staff, room was small but manageable for three people, bed and pillows were comfortable, shower and air conditioning worked well and room had a fridge and safe. Noise isolation is okay. Literally around the corner from Times Square and 47th subway station, convenience store across the street as well.

I loved everything about this hotel! Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was simple, but that was exactly what I was looking for. The view was amazing! I was impressed with how little of city noises could be heard while inside the room. The breakfast at "The Alderman" was great- the lemon herb vinaigrette on arugula salad was honestly one of my favorite things I ate on the trip. I was grateful for the speed and ease of check-in/check-out, as well as the hotel's ability to hold my luggage until it was time to check-in and even after check-out! The speed of the elevator and the safety in regards to how it operated was also really impressive. I loved my stay!
